Proposed Legislation
Working Towards a Brighter Future
Our goal at Nurse March Ohio is to have as many people empowered with knowledge of what legislation can do for them. Linked below is just some of the proposed legislation impacting healthcare work conditions.

Labor Laws
Knowledge is Power
Nurse March Ohio wants to empower not only Healthcare professionals, but the public of what their rights are when working in the State of Ohio. Everyone deserves fair treatment and safe working conditions, no matter the job title. We all deserve safety. Knowing which government agencies protect you is essential. Nurse Specific Guides
Protect Your License
The state’s duty to protect those who receive nursing care is the basis for a nursing license. Safe, competent nursing practice is grounded in the law as written in the state nurse practice act (NPA) and the state rules/regulations. Together the NPA and rules/regulations guide and govern nursing practice. (nscbn.org/npa.htm)
The link below is a wealth of information. It has Ohio Revised Codes for Hospitals and Contains the Nurse Practice Act. Note the page is not a comprehensive guide nor is it a replacement for legal counsel.
